Alfred Goldschmidt Medical Sciences LibraryMISSION: The mission of the Alfred Goldschmidt Medical Sciences Library is to provide the most effective, responsive, and up-to-date information services possible in support of the missions of the Faculty of Medicine (research, teaching excellence and high-quality health care). In addition, the library serves the information needs of the staff of the Rambam Medical Center, as well as students from the joint University of Haifa-Technion paramedical programs. The library also provides information support to all Faculty-affiliated hospital libraries in the Northern region of Israel. The library maintains collections of books, periodicals and electronic information sources that support the research, teaching and patient care by the academic staff, students and medical center staff. OBJECTIVES: Provide a wide range of books, periodicals and electronic information for our user population. - Provide and maintain a pleasant atmosphere conducive to study and for the use of library collection and services.
- Provide high-quality and courteous customer service
- Provide instruction in the use of the library's information resources in order to stimulate their optimal use.

There are photocopy machines located in the library operated by the HaMafil Company (tel.: 04-8577599). Library photocopying cards may be purchased or recharged from the coin-operated machine located adjacent to the photocopy machines. In addition, credit cards (MasterCard, American Express, etc.) may be used in the photocopy machines. |
