Hochberg Zeev - Professor
Zeev Hochberg is an Emeritus Professor at the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine, Technion, Haifa, Israel. He received his MD from Tel Aviv University and PhD from the Technion. He is certified as an endocrinologist, a pediatrician and a pediatric endocrinologist. He is the Editor-in Chief of the Yearbook in Pediatric Endocrinology, an editor of additional 8 books, the author of over 275 peer-reviewed scientific articles and three monographs. He is the past President of the European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology (ESPE) and the founder and past Secretary General of Global Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes GPED supporting pediatric endocrinology in developing countries. He is the winner of the prestigious Andrea Prader Prize for world leadership in Pediatric Endocrinology and the ESPE Research Award. His research focuses on the basic principles and mechanisms in child growth, maturation and evolutionary perspectives.
